PRESENT.

“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
Ever find yourself bouncing between worrying about the past and planning for the future? I know I have. Our minds run a million miles an hour and finding windows of peace to bring ourselves to the present can often be difficult. When striving for goals this can be even more challenging as we delve into past habits and plan for future wins. When you can finally imagine yourself at your best yet, it’s easy to get caught up in wishing the time away between now and then. The trouble with this is that we miss out on so many of the other joys of life along the way. The sunrise, the first sip of coffee, the song that plays on the way to work, the phone call from your family member, the giggle from your baby. Rather than rush from A to B this week, what can you do to bring yourself back to the present and appreciate the small and precious moments in between the A’s and B’s?
Also, while I’ve got you, massive thanks for subscribing! I’ve been overwhelmed by the support and am stoked to say I’ve moved to a larger platform to accomodate these newsletters! From next week your emails from me will be looking a little different, however, don’t worry, you’ll still get sent every single one (only better!).
