Many of us are familiar with this quote in the form of a sign on a bathroom door, sticker on the back of a car or keyring slogan, how many of us though have stopped to apply the metaphor to our own situations?

Whether it be losing weight, gaining a fitness routine, improving mental health, or changing our wellness habits, striving for our goals is always a journey and one that takes time. Goals can take days to weeks to months to years to achieve and that time entails good days, bad days, sunshine and rain. Whether you’re struggling with motivation, feeling disheartened by obstacles, or are simply losing enjoyment in the process, ask yourself this. How can you stop simply waiting for the storm to pass and begin learning to dance in the rain?
